Dr. Shmuel Bar
Founder, CEO and Chairman

Shmuel Bar served for thirty years in the Israeli government, first in the IDF Intelligence and then in the Israeli Office of the Prime Minister. Since the mid 1980's he specialized in the ideology and operational codes of Islamic fundamentalist movements and particularly of the Jihadi movement that later evolved into al-Qaeda. During this period he also served as First Secretary at the Israeli Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands. Since 2002, he was Director of Studies at the Institute of Policy and Strategy in Herzliya, Israel and on the steering team of the prestigious annual "Herzliya Conference". He is also an adjunct Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute and has been Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He has headed research projects – many of them for US government agencies - and published extensively on issues relating to the Middle East. He holds a Ph.D. in History of the Middle East from Tel-Aviv University.

Kfir served in the IDF's Intelligence Corp. Kfir holds a MSc in computer science from Tel Aviv University for a thesis on Arabic to English example-based machine-translation (EBMT) under the supervision of Prof. Nachum Dershowitz and Prof. Yaacov Chouqa. Currently, Kfir is pursuing a Ph.D in computer science at Tel Aviv University working on the same subject. He was part of the core team of Baobab Technologies Inc., an Israeli natural language processing venture, in which he participated as a software engineer in building a sophisticated dialog system. Prior joining to IntuView, Kfir worked as a software engineer at ItemField Ltd., an Israeli start-up company, dealing with data transfer, which later was purchased by Informatica.

Yechiel Kurts

Yechiel has over 19 years of experience in the high tech industry, combining both operational and investment experience with top tier companies in Israel and the US. For the past three years, Yechiel has been actively involved in start-up companies as a private investor and active director, and has led one of them to a highly profitable M&A exit transaction. Prior to becoming a private investor, Yechiel held the position of a Principal at Apax Partners Israel Ltd. (2000 - 2005), with an investment focus in the areas of Telecom/Datacom and IT. Prior to that, Yechiel was a co-founder and Vice President of Business Development of Nbase-Xyplex (the system division of MRV Communications, California). Yechiel holds a joint International Executive MBA degree from Northwestern University and Tel Aviv University (Kellogg-Recanati program), and a BScEE cum laude from the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa.


Glenn Carle
Active Independent Director


Glenn Carle is a twenty-three year veteran of the Clandestine Services of the Central Intelligence Agency, during which he performed national security and counterterrorism assignments on four continents and in Washington, D.C. In this context he worked closely with the Executive Office of the President on various issues, led 16 U.S. Government agencies in the most senior intelligence assessments in the U.S. Government on terrorism; wrote policy Decision Memoranda for the U.S. President on trade and terrorism issues and managed sensitive clandestine programs. Since 2008 he is serving as Senior Vice President at McClendon Corporation. Prior to this he worked as a senior analyst at Centra Technology dealing with Homeland Security risk analysis. His last position at CIA was Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Transnational Threats (terrorism) and the National Intelligence Council (NIC) in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. In this capacity he was involved in preparing the national intelligence estimate of risks on terrorism and other national security risks. Mr. Carle holds a BA from Harvard University, is a graduate of the Masters Program in International Relations at L'Institut d'études politiques de Paris (France) and holds an MA from Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Washington, D.C.

Shabtai Shavit
Member of Advisory Board


Mr. Shavit served for over 32 years in a variety of posts within the Mossad, Israel's Intelligence Agency, before becoming the head of the agency in 1989. He served as Deputy head of the Mossad from 1987 to 1989 and head of the Mossad from 1989 to 1996. Upon leaving the organization he was appointed as CEO of "Maccabi Health Services" one of Israel's largest HMO's. He obtained his BA in Arabic language and Middle East Studies from the Hebrew University and an MA in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Previous to joining the Mossad he served in the IDF elite unit.


James Woolsey

James Woolsey has served in the U.S. Government in four administrations. He was Director of Central Intelligence in 1993-95. He also served as: Ambassador to the Negotiation on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE), Vienna, 1989-1991; Under Secretary of the Navy, 1977-1979; and General Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services, 1970-73 and served in numerous other high level capacities. Mr. Woolsey is currently: the Chairman of the Board of Freedom House, the Chairman of the Advisory Boards of the Clean Fuels Foundation and the New Uses Council, and a Trustee of the Center for Strategic & International Studies. He also serves on the National Commission on Energy Policy and has served on the boards of numerous other firms and academic bodies. He received his B.A. Degree from Stanford University, an M.A. from Oxford University (Rhodes Scholar 1963-65), and an LL.B from Yale Law School.


Dr. Lt. Col. (Rtd.) Tony Martin

Tony spent 22 years in the US Army, retired as a Lieutenant-Colonel. In his last assignment, he served as the Senior Intelligence Officer for the US Army Special Forces Command. He was responsible for the procurement and implementation of over $30 million worth of intelligence related hardware and software solutions for every US Army Special Forces operational unit. The majority of the procurement dollars were spent attempting to ameliorate the cultural and language barriers encountered in operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Philippines, and Latin America. While the majority of his career was spent in 7th Special Forces Group, focused on Latin America, in 2002, Dr. Martin deployed to Afghanistan to resolve significant issues with intelligence procedures. Later, he became the Joint Operations Center (JOC) Chief for the Combined-Joint Special Operations Task Force - Afghanistan.
